PayPal announces newly redesigned website
Today, online payment solutions provider PayPal announced that its website, PayPal.com, has been redesigned. This confirms our report yesterday, pointing out to a couple of screenshots that were leaked. PayPal also confirmed the rumored overhaul yesterday saying it will be announcing the changes officially today. Vikas Bhatia, Senior Director of Online Marketing at PayPal, pushed through with the announcement via PayPal’s official blog. “Starting today, it’s rolling out to our customers in the U.S. Everyone in the U.S. should see it within a couple of weeks and the new site will be coming to the rest of our 110 million users worldwide later,” Bhatia said.
PayPal explained that the team responsible for the new look and functionality of the website had one thing in mind when they started this redesign – the customer. Bhatia added that the team had to cut down the number of pages on their website to focus more on the ones that give solutions to the majority of its users. So what can we expect from the newly redesigned PayPal? True to yesterday’s report, the site will now have an “explore” button and a more intuitive login process. PayPal said that we can expect to see more changes to its service in the coming months.
