HTC to fix One X Wi-Fi issues
It was just last week when whispers of issues surrounding the HTC One X’s Wi-Fi connectivity status started to circulate, and an apparent hardware failure seems to be the gremlin at work here. It seems that placing some pressure on just the right spot on the HTC One X’s case do seem to rectify the spotty Wi-Fi connection issue, helping restore a strong Wi-Fi signal in the process. This most probably denotes a loose connection between the Wi-Fi antenna and the phone’s internal circuits. While HTC has acknowledged that such an issue exists, we are still awaiting a fix from the folks over at HTC. Good thing that something is being done about the situation, so future HTC One X owners need not worry as to whether the HTC One X will suffer from any more Wi-Fi connectivity issues or not. Hopefully existing HTC One X owners will be able to be on the receiving end of a hardware replacement program, too.
