Helicopter gets inverted as ceiling fan

All right, I will be a straight arrow with you here – we are not talking about an actual helicopter being put to better use (relatively speaking) as a ceiling fan, but rather, a 1:6 scale of the Hughes MD 500 helicopter that has been turned upside down thanks to the efforts of a certain Raffaele Iannello. The result of this piece of creativity would be an inverted helicopter which functions as a ceiling fan,  delivering a cool breeze thanks to its remote controlled three speed motor.

Now, I am quite sure that after watching many a movie, we might half expect the blades to just come spinning off, but I would say the chances of that happening would be infinitesimally small. The scaled down “helicopter” itself is made out of fiberglass with carbon fiber blades and an aluminum internal structure, where you will be able to have it “land” on your ceiling on a silver helipad base.

No idea on pricing, but generally, the principle is this – if you have got to ask, you certainly cannot afford it. Now for someone crazy enough to come up with an inverted helicarrier that is the floating fortress of S.H.I.E.L.D.
