Students if you’re in the market for a new laptop, Dell has recently announced the Inspiron 14z and 13z models. The former will be an ultrabook that according to Dell, will offer users great performance and fast response time, courtesy of Intel Rapid Start Technology. It will also be Dell’s second ultrabook release after the XPS 13. Featuring a battery life of 7 hours, the Dell Inspiron 14z will feature a brushed aluminum finish and will be available in two color choices – Moon Silver and Fire Red and weighs 4.12 pounds and measures 0.83” at its thickest point. The Dell Inspiron 14z is available in select countries in Asia starting from today and will be available in US and Canada come June 19th. European markets can expect to get their hands on it later this summer and it will retail for a rather affordable $699.99.
Next up is the 13z which is slightly lighter and thinner than 14z at 3.81 pounds and 0.82”. It will feature a longer lasting battery life at 7 1/2 hours and will come with color SWITCH lids that users will be able to swap out based on their needs. It will come in Moon Silver, Fire Red or Lotus pink and will sport the same release dates as the Inspiron 14z. It will retail for a slightly lower price-tag of $599.99.
