Now according to ASUS, the Taichi is said to be as light and as thin as their Zenbook Ultrabook series of computers. No word on the specifics of the hardware just yet, but it is expected to be powered by Intel’s Ivy Bridge processors, sport a SSD under its hood and dual-band 802.11n WiFi. Also based on the rendering, it is safe to assume that the ASUS Taichi will come with Microsoft’s Windows 8 preloaded. The Taichi will be available in either 11.6” or 13.3” models but no word on when or how much it will cost upon its release. Assuming it really is as thin as the Zenbook, we’ll have to say that we are suitably impressed and wouldn’t mind getting our hands on it, but what do you guys think? Any takers?
