Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich heads for AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2

So you are looking at the Samsung Galaxy S2 in your hand, sporting an AT&T logo right there, wondering whether you should join some of your other friends to make the jump to the spanking new Samsung Galaxy S3, or just to wait it out for the next generation iPhone. Well, if constantly upgrading your device is not your cup of tea, and you feel that the Samsung Galaxy S2 has enough legs to see you through the coming year (or two, at least), then you ought to be pleased to hear that AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S2 has just jumped aboard the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich bandwagon – Android 4.0.3 to be exact.

Guess this means you can now enjoy Chrome for Android without having to resort to custom firmware. I guess that means Sprint is the only US carrier left that still has Gingerbread running on their Epic 4G Touch. Better late than never applies in this case, do you not think so? I wonder whether this lack of upgrades on Sprint’s part might be a factor in folks not subscribing to their service in the future.
