Last week it Sony announced its PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale brawler game. Unfortunately the full roster of characters had yet to be officially unveiled at that time but Sony has since announced several characters that have been confirmed to be part of the game. This includes Kratos from the God of War franchise, Fat Princess, Sly, Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal, PaRappa the Rapper and Radec. While these are the confirmed characters from now, other characters such as Nathan Drake from Unchartered were among the list of rumored characters as well.
For those unfamiliar, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is essentially Sony’s answer to Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. It will be a 3D brawler that pits up to four characters from Sony’s franchise of games against each other in dynamic terrain. Characters will be able to collect Action Points to fill up a Special Meter that would give their character a super power unique to that character’s franchise.
