In order to accommodate the larger display and new resolution, it seems that Apple will also be introducing custom builds of iOS 6 that will be tailored to fit the new iPhone’s display. These tweaks include a fifth row of icons and extended application user interfaces that will provide users with more viewable content. Also given that the resolution is close to the 16:9 aspect ratio, videos that use the 16:9 ratio should be able to play full screen with any issues.
Of course considering that we have yet to see this rumored 3.95” iPhone ourselves, we will be taking this with a grain of salt for now until an official announcement has been made! In the mean time, Apple is expected to unveil iOS 6 at WWDC which will be taking place next month, so be sure to check back with us then for the details!
