According to Nick, his property cost £3,500 annually to run in terms of gas and electricity, but all of that is going to change this year, as he expects it to be in credit by £200. Surely a far way off from the amount of money that he has invested to turn it “green”, but then again, making sure the earth is habitable for the next generation is never going to be easy on our pockets considering how far humanity has polluted it, right?
Other additions in this sprawling home would be a computer system that will manage the heating levels throughout the home, making minute adjustments as and where necessary, while the digital thermostat works great in displaying the times, the outside temperature and the temperature within. Not only that, there are also motion sensor lights that activate whenever it detects the presence of a person in the vicinity in order to cut down on unnecessary power use.
Nick had already invested £1 million on the property itself, and is willing to let it go to any interested purchasers for £2.5 million a pop.
