Some Sprint Galaxy Nexus owners have reported having 3G connectivity issues (4G LTE is not yet available for Sprint). While not everyone is affected by the problem, some users did return the device to ask for a replacement (probably those who bought the phone less than 15 days earlier), but it appears that Sprint is already aware of the issue and is already working on a software fix. Here is the statement of the company:
“Sprint/Samsung is aware of this problem and will be releasing a software update to resolve the issue. Can’t commit to a date yet, but they are trying really hard to get it released early next week. Sorry for your troubles,”
That’s from a Sprint forum moderator said. So if you’re planning to grab a Samsung Galaxy Nexus now, we suggest that you keep an eye on the issue, and wait for the software update.
