Samsung Galaxy S3 “confirmed” with quad-core processor
Another day, another Galaxy S3 rumor. Many believe that the Galaxy S3 could be launched with Samsung’s quad-core Exynos processors in tow, a 1080p HD display and possible 4G LTE connectivity. That was the popular belief until yesterday where it was reported that the Galaxy S3 is merely a refresh of the Galaxy S2 and will not be sporting any of the rumored specs. That certainly was a bit of a buzz kill, wasn’t it? Well according to a fresh set of new reports citing a “source close to the company” has “confirmed” that the May 3rd event in London will indeed be for the highly-anticipated Galaxy S3, and will indeed be packing a quad-core processor – at least as far as the global version of the phone is concerned. Given the various rumors and the amount of speculation that has been surrounding the phone, we’ll be taking this info with generous doses of salt until the 3rd of May where hopefully the Galaxy S3 will be unveiled. After all, it is rather hard to “confirm” the specs of a device that we know nothing of.
