While RIM might not be as popular as it once was, no doubt about that they still have legions of loyal followers out there. Well the good news for Blackberry users is that has announced that several of their apps will be updated with BBM connected support, along with an update for BBM itself to include animated avatars, an easier way of updating one’s BBM personal message and will also give users a quicker method of sending voice notes.
As far as the other apps are concerned, both Facebook and Twitter can allow users to share their status updates or recent tweets with their friends on BBM directly from the app itself. BlackBerry Travel has also been updated to allow users to share their travel plans and flight changes with their BBM contacts, and BlackBerry App World has been updated to allow you to share info about the latest app you’ve downloaded with your contacts on BBM.
Last but not least is the update to BBM Music that allows you to recommend friends right from the app itself. This will help make it easier for you to find other BBM Music users to connect with and expand your music collection. More information on the updates are available via the BlackBerry Blog.
