Novero Solana arrives at the FCC, dual boots in Windows 7 and Android
Tablets have killed off the netbook segment – that much is sure, and here we are with the Noveno Solana that intends to roll back the years by coming in the form of a convertible netbook. I guess the outstanding thing about the Novero Solana would be the ability to run either one operating system – Windows 7 or Android, depending on what you need to get done at that point in time. Underneath the hood, a dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom N2600 processor will ensure that everything runs peachy keen, while an Intel GMA 3600 IGP graphics chipset caters to its visual processing needs, in addition to 2GB RAM and a choice of either a 32GB or 64GB solid-state storage.
Since it has already arrived at the FCC, it only makes perfect sense to speculate that it would not be long before the Novero Solana finally arrives in the market – for good. We are speculating that this puppy will come with a $800 price point thereabouts, but seriously, a convertible netbook – who is going to fall for that marketing line in this day and age?
