Nokia could be gauging customer interest in folders for Windows Phone

Both iOS and Android offer users the ability to group apps in folders. Not only is this less messy but will help users locate apps easily. Well the it seems that Nokia could be gauging users’ interest in apps for Windows Phone in a recently conducted survey. While surveys are certainly not new, one user by the name of Jonathan W noticed that one of the questions posed was about how users felt about the ability to be able to group apps into folders while in the app screen. While there is a homebrew solution for Windows Phone users to create folders for their devices, by default there is no such option available. Given Nokia’s close and special relationship with Microsoft, it is possible that they could be including the ability for folders in future Lumia devices as one of the ways to set themselves apart from the competition. What do our Windows Phone-using readers out there think? Folders – yay or nay?
