According to an article by MobileBurn, Sprint has come one step closer to launching its first LTE device today. The carrier announced that the rumored LG Viper 4G LTE smartphone will be ready for pre-orders on April 12. Sprint will be offering the device for $99.99 with a new two-year contract. The carrier still isn’t saying when the phone will actually be released in stores but it does state that when the time is right, more information regarding the availability of the device will be given. The LG Viper 4G features a body made from recycled material. It will come powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The device will also come to you with support for apps such as Google Wallet.
