The handset was announced earlier this year prior to MWC 2012 (and also made an appearance then), and for those who might have missed the news, expect to find a 4.3” glasses-free 3D IPS display on the device. The LG Optimus 3D Max will also feature a 1.2GHz dual-core processor under its hood, a 5MP rear-facing camera capable of 3D photos and videos, 16GB of internal storage, NFC capabilities with support for LG Tag+, and will come preinstalled with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Unfortunately no word on when LG plans to upgrade the LG Optimus 3D Max to Android 4.0, but if its 3D capabilities are of more interest to you than its Android build, then this might be a phone worth checking out.
