iPad faces Wi-Fi connectivity issues
Are you a proud owner of the spanking new iPad? Well, you might not be affected, but some owners of Apple’s most recent tablet device have come across issues (such as the 3G connection being wonky) when hooking up to a Wi-Fi network is concerned. Computerworld claims that Apple is full well aware of the situation, and has recommended affected customers to just reset their Wi-Fi settings so that this particular issue is resolved once and for all. Apart from being unable to connect to a Wi-Fi network, some other issues include connection drops, slow download and upload speeds, as well as the iPad stubbornly refusing to acknowledge local Wi-Fi networks.
Now, resetting your Wi-Fi settings isn’t too much to ask, is it? If you do not know how, here is a pointer – first of all, under the Settings app, go General-Reset. Choose Reset Network Settings from there and confirm. Once this is one, reboot your iPad, re-enter the right connection information, and you ought to be good to go after that. This particular issue seems to be software related though, with nothing associated with the hardware bit. Are you part of the affected?
