Human Dynamo Jacket concept design
Turning your everyday activity into something fruitful such as generating energy and stashing it somewhere is always a bonus, and there have been some mathematical calculations done in the past that show that estimates might eventually hit a high of approximately 130 Watts of potentially usable juice, turning kinetic energy into a more usable form that we call electrical energy. Footfalls generate around 67W which would make it the highest “grossing” movement, while arm motion has around 60W. If you prefer to pick your nose, then lifting a finger will generate only approximately 10mW. As for the Human Dynamo Jacket (HuMo jacket for short), this concept design intends to harvest the body’s motion by turning kinetic energy generated into electrical energy. Where does all of this electricity end up? Well, it is used to light up LEDs for enhanced visibility.
