HP updates dv6t and dv7t laptops with Intel Ivy Bridge processors
If you’re in the market for a new laptop and you were holding out for Intel’s batch of Ivy Bridge processors, you’re in luck as HP has recently updated its series of Pavillion dv6t and dv7t laptops. Both laptops will feature Intel’s Core i7-3610QM processors clocked at 2.3GHz, but if you feel that you need more power, HP is offering customers the option of upgrading to Intel Core i7-3720QM processors clocked at 3.6GHz, or the Intel Core i7-3820QM clocked at 3.7GHz. The upgrades are expected to set you back $170 and $370 respectively. Apart from the difference in screen sizes (15.6” for the dv6t and 17.3” for the dv7t), both laptops will feature similar hardware and will come with a 750GB HDD, 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 630M GPU.
