Meizu intends to up the ante over the classic Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system by offering what Meizu deems as a “more logical” experience. Meizu hopes that what their software engineers did would have introduced a more streamlined interaction between the user and the smartphone, while pre-installed apps will be all the more comprehensive. Other features under the hood include backup and sync, lost phone locating, as well as a new cloud services like personal file storage.
Folks living in mainland China will be able to enjoy Meizu’s very own Music Online music streaming app that will see the entire library getting an upgrade to lossless audio formats, now how about that? Owners of the Meizu MX and M9 can make the upgrade to Flyme 1.0 via an OTA (over the air) push straight on their handsets, or they can take the manual route by downloading the firmware upgrade from the official Meizu website later this June.
