The Wearable Multitouch Projector does have a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? After all, everyone loves something that looks futuristic, and I must say, it is somewhat akin to having a cyber-organic lifeform perched on your shoulder when you mount the Wearable Multitouch Projector, while others might figure out you are part of the Borg entity. TechFest 2012 saw Hrvoje Benko from Microsoft Research parade his latest pet project, the Wearable Multitouch Projector. This unique piece of projection device frees up both hands of the user since it already rests on one’s shoulder. This means you can use your hands, arms and even the wall as a graphical interactive surface. No idea on what kind of practical use it will see action in, but considering how it is still a prototype at the moment, I suppose there is still time for the team at Microsoft Research to churn something out.
