Steel Series teases mouse with possible integrated screen

Steel Series has been known for putting out a variety of gaming peripheral, such as keyboard and mice, and it seems that the company might have something new up their sleeves thanks to a couple of Twitter posts in which the company teased us with what appears to be a new gaming mouse with what some are calling an integrated screen, although based on the images, it seems more like backlighting if anything.

An integrated screen on a mouse doesn’t really make much sense, especially since our palms would be covering it most of the time, so if anything, it seems more than likely that Steel Series will be launching a mouse with backlighting to confirm polling and refreshing rates. This has been done in the past, but perhaps Steel Series has come up with a better or more refined way of doing so.

Either way, with their promise that they will be revealing something new next week, possibly at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, we guess we will have no choice but to wait and see what they have in store for us.
