When you have a computer with a demand of 700 units per second, you know for sure that you are on to a winner here. The Raspberry Pi mini computer is definitely such a device, but unfortunately, it comes naked – so you will need to suit it up yourself. Good thing Marco Alici figured out something for the masses – coming up with his very own Raspberry Pi computer case. It was certainly a tough time sourcing for the right material, as not all choices are suitable for a decent design for the case. So far, what you see above is an image rendering, and the actual 3D printed prototype is being created at Shapeways. The case itself was designed with the possibility of manufacturing it using the injection molding process, which is intentional so that the case will not end up being so much more expensive than the computer. Are you looking forward to the Raspberry Pi yourself?
