‘Password1’ is most popular business password worldwide
If you own a business, then make sure not only you, but your entire organization – everything that needs and everyone who has a password, will not use ‘Password1’ as the password. This is what we managed to gather from online security firm Trustwave, who claimed that the supposedly secret word was the choice for most business organizations simply because it actually fulfilled complexity settings. More than 5% of computer users picked it because it sports a capitalized letter, carries at least one number, and will also fulfill the criteria of having the right number of characters – the minimum, at least. Of course, this is slightly harder to crack compared to the most popular code word that home users rely on – that is, ‘password.’ The modern day problem for most first world country residents would be this – you have too many passwords to remember for the myriad of online accounts that you own. Do you agree with that statement?
