It is not our intention to overload you with Google+ news after we covered their first TV ad in the UK as well as the Google Comments which will be integrated with Google+, but this new tit-bit of information is simply too good to ignore. The search giants have announced the arrival of some of its first fully featured apps for Google+ Hangouts. The apps amounting to 6 are part of a starter set designed to have fun with and play games with others. The only exceptions are the Slide Share and Cacoo.

The full list of new apps comprise of +Aces Hangout which allows friends to play poker online via Hangouts. You will be face to face to face to face (you get the point) with your opponent, Clubhouse Challenge by Bravo which tests users pop culture IQ against other teams, Google Effects for use when you want to try on headwear, eyewear of maybe some facial hair, Scoot & Doodle which allows users to draw and color with other people, Cacoo a business oriented app for wire-framing, mind-mapping and diagramming with others and finally, SlideShare another business app which would allow users to view presentations, documents and videos together.

The multi-person video chat that can support up to 10 participants at a time is a base for these apps. Regardless of your personal opinion about Google+, Hangouts is a feature worth joining for. Besides adding the 3rd party apps to the feature, Google also mentioned via Google+ no less that Hangouts will be sorted into “Featured” and “Recent” groups on the page once you have used it enough and it has sufficient data to work off. Do these apps coupled with Hangouts on Google+ intrigue you? Do drop us a comment below to let us know.
