Google Voice has Voicemail Display with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Google Voice first launched three years ago, where visual voicemail was supported then. Just how did you access visual voicemail? For starters, you will need to open the Google Voice app, check all of your voicemails from there as they come with text transcripts, and play them on-demand. There are moments, however, where you are on the receiving end of a missed call, and it can be quite the chore to jump between the call log and the Google Voice app in order to check out just who called you as well as the kind of voice message they left. The mobile version of Google Voice today comes with the ability for you to view and listen to your voicemails on demand directly from the call log on your Android-powered smartphone. These voicemails will appear right beside your outgoing, incoming, and missed calls list, where touching them will play back automatically. To make sure you do not miss a single word, there is also the option to slow down the playback of the message, and if you reach some particularly boring part in a banter, just speed up the message. In order to turn this feature on, make sure your smartphone runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich first before installing this app from Google Play.
