If you’re a fan of Flight Control, you’ll be excited to know that there now is a sequel to the simple yet highly addictive game. Called Flight Control Rocket, it takes the same idea of the original game and expands upon it with new features, gameplay mechanics and graphics. Flight Control Rocket is now set in space, and features 15 spacecraft with unique abilities and characteristics. New game modes such as Infinity and Odyssey are available, and tons of stages can be unlocked. Players also get multiple lives, so a single crash doesn’t mean game over now.
One of the main differences between Flight Control Rocket and the original is the addition of in-game purchases. It’s not necessary to spend any additional money in order to play the game, but as usual – it will make things easier. If you’re interested in checking it out, it is available now on the Apple App Store for $0.99 – and yes, it supports the new iPad’s Retina Display.
