With a name like the Espresso Book Machine, you know for sure that whatever it will do, it does it there and then on the spot – and fast. The unique Espresso Book Machine is said to offer on-demand books there and then, and will fill the niche in Brooklyn that will be able to offer voracious readers what libraries do not – titles in just about any language, in addition to an opportunity for you to publish your own book. The Espresso Book Machine 2.0 measures approximately 5 feet in height and 7 feet wide, and is capable of printing a book in just four minutes. Currently, there is an Espresso Book Machine at the Brooklyn Central Library, alongside 70 of the machines working elsewhere worldwide. Another 30 more are tipped to arrive sometime in the summer, where customers are able to choose from a database of eight million titles. Most importantly, the Espresso Book Machine paves the way for authors to print new works, without having to worry about the logistics. Seems legit to me, and since everyone is said to have a good book in them, the Espresso Book Machine could not have come at a more opportune moment.
