You know for sure that Nintendo is the master of rolling out different colors for the same device, and yet still manage to “persuade” the masses to purchase the same device over and over again – simply because of a change in color. Having said that, the Nintendo 3DS is the latest portable handheld console that is on the receiving end of the color treatment, coming in Cobalt Blue this time around. Nintendo hopes that people will not get confused between this and the Aqua Blue model, but bear in mind that Cobalt Blue will arrive in Japan first on an exclusive basis. Not only that, this month will see a quartet of 3DS bundles released, where the Monster Hunter 3G bundle will arrive this coming March 17th in black and red flavors, while white and pink Super Mario 3D Land bundles will hit the markets in the Far East a week after that. As for the Cobalt Blue model, it will come in a bundle that commemorates the release of the Fire Emblem Awakening title this April 19th, sporting the Nintendo 3DS, the game itself and a card worth 1000 Nintendo Points.
