The FCC filing did not reveal anything new, so for those who might have missed the news on the Transformer Pad 300, it will sport a 10.1” 1280×800 IPS display (as opposed to Super IPS+ on the Transformer Prime), a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 16GB of internal storage (the Transformer Prime starts at 32GB), an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera and will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
It will also feature a plastic body in place of the higher quality aluminum build of its more expensive siblings, the Transformer Prime and the Transformer Pad Infinity. No word on pricing or availability just yet, but here’s hoping the FCC approval is one step closer to seeing a release.
