Acamar Transformer Windows netbook turns into a tablet
What makes the Acamar Transformer Windows netbook special, standing out from the rest? Apart from its nifty naming convention, it also boasts of a convertible nature, allowing it to function as a tablet when desired, and reverting to a netbook form factor as and where necessary. The 8.9″ display on the Acamar Transformer is something slightly out of the ordinary, while the unique design provides the allowance to tilt back the display before closing the lid, so that it can “transform” into a tablet form factor. Underneath the hood, you will find an Intel Atom N450 1.6GHz single core processor, 2GB RAM, a 120GB hard drive, and Windows 7 as the operating system of choice. As for the 8.9″ display, it has a resolution count of 1024 x 600 pixels, while connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a couple of USB 2.0 ports, VGA and Ethernet ports. When it functions in tablet mode, the Acamar Transformer will be able to make full use of its G-sensor and multitouch display. Would you fork out around $460 for this puppy?
