38 Studios’ hiring hints at Kingdoms of Amalur MMO
The game Kingdoms of Amalur was released not too long ago and if you couldn’t get enough of the game, it looks like an MMO version of the game might be headed your way. This was revealed when 38 Studios hired both John Blakely and Mark Hansen, both of whom are pretty big in the MMORPG industry, with the former having experience overseeing DC Universe Online and Everquest II, while the latter was one of the leads on LEGO Universe.
38 Studios has had a MMO in the works for awhile now, although at that time it was only known as “Project Copernicus”. In any case, we’re not sure when we can expect to see a Kingdoms of Amalur MMO released, but given the success of the single player game in terms of story, graphics and gameplay, here’s hoping that the MMO version will not disappoint!
