The first Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Note recently leaked online and if you were wondering what it’s like, look no further. Thanks to the folks over at GSMArena, you no longer have to flash the ROM to your own Galaxy Note – they installed the update on a Galaxy Note they had lying around and shot a preview video showing off the update. According to them, the build features Ice Cream Sandwich that’s wrapped in Samsung TouchWiz. The ROM is deemed stable enough for everyday use, with support for all hardware including the S Pen.
However, since it is a Chinese release, it doesn’t come with support for your Google account, which means no Android Market either. You still have the option to sideload apps to circumvent that problem, but if it’s an issue to you, this is one leak you’ll probably be skipping. If you’re still keen on checking it out, head over to XDA-Developers for the files, or check out the video demonstration above for more details.
