Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 stops by the FCC with AT&T radios
If you’re interested in getting your hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, you’re in luck as the tablet was spotted recently at the FCC. While the device name was not mentioned, Wireless Goodness uncovered the filing which revealed the model number GT-N8000. Given how Samsung announced two 10.1” models, the Galaxy Tab 2 and the Galaxy Note 10.1, the GT-N8000 was almost mistaken for the former until the filing revealed the 2MP front-facing camera which points towards the Galaxy Note 10.1 as the Galaxy Tab 2 only features a VGA front camera.
The FCC filing had also shown that the device will come with support for dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GSM 850/1900 bands and WCDMA 850/1900 bands, with the WCDMA bands making the Galaxy Note 10.1 a good candidate to be launched on AT&T’s network, but unfortunately the filing did not mention anything about support for 4G LTE connectivity. A quick recap for those who might have forgotten: the Galaxy Note 10.1 will feature a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, a 10.1” 1280×800 display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and S-Pen support.
