The Eluga Power will sport a 5” 1280×720 HD LCD display, putting it right smack in competition with the newly launched LG Optimus Vu and the Samsung Galaxy Note. It will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, IP57 certified to be both water and dustproof, NFC capabilities, an 8MP rear-facing camera capable of 1080p Full HD video recording, a front-facing camera, 8GB of internal storage expandable via its microSD card slot and will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich preinstalled.
It measures 136x70x9.6mm and will come with a “superfast” charging feature. This will allow the device to charge to 50% in just 30 minutes, and 80% in 57 minutes, both of which assumes that phone is being charged from the 10% mark. No word on pricing or availability just yet, although we have to admit that are really curious to see how the Panasonic Eluga Power will hold up against the competition.
