LG Optimus L7 announced

[MWC 2012] Nearly a week ago, LG revealed their L-series of Android smartphones that include the L3, L5 and L7, a new series of Android handsets that LG is touting to be the company’s new design identity for mobile phones. Well if you’re in the market for a new Android smartphone with the looks to match, perhaps the LG Optimus L7 might be the device you have been searching for.

The L7 will sport what LG is calling a “premium metallic touch”, and will sport a 4.3” display with a 1GHz processor under its hood, a 5MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which undoubtedly will make many customers happy amidst the sea of Gingerbread handsets. It will also feature what LG has dubbed a “floating mass display”, which is a display that’s been brought closer to the surface of the screen, thus giving off the illusion that it is “floating”.

The LG Optimus L7 is expected to go on sale in Europe in the first half of 2012, but unfortunately no word on pricing at the moment, although given its specs we don’t expect it to be breaking the bank any time soon.
