Install CyanogenMod 7 on your Nook tablet
Own a Barnes & Noble Nook tablet, and are wondering just how else you are going to maximize the experience on this little tablet device that could? Well, we have seen the CyanogenMod 9 for the Galaxy Tab 10.1, the HP TouchPad getting nightly builds, while a very early version for the LG Optimus 2x being touted, so here is the CyanogenMod 7 for the humble Nook tablet. After all, this tablet ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread right out of the box, but strangely it lacks access to the Android Market and makes available only 1GB of the available 12GB disk space for files that are not downloaded from the Barnes & Noble Shop. Good thing a bunch of adventurous hackers decided to do something about this situation, where installing CyanogenMod 7 ought to solve all these issues. Currently an alpha build, there are still some bugs running around, but at least you can now install the Nook app from the Android Market.
