[MWC 2012] Yes, you might be blown away by what the HTC One X is capable of delivering, but not everyone needs a high-end smartphone – there are some of us who would do just fine with a mid-range handset, and the HTC One S does not seem to disappoint. Touted to be the thinnest HTC smartphone to date, it is not only compact but packs enough sophistication whenever you pull it out from your pocket. With a 4.3″ qHD AMOLED touchscreen display as well as Beats Audio that delivers crisp sound, your games, apps and movies will never be the same again. It should be available via T-Mobile thanks to its HSPA+ connectivity, running on a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor. No wonder it burned through the NenaMark 2 benchmark.
Other features include an innovative metal unibody styling that is just 7.9mm thin, you can choose from ultra-matte black Ceramic Metal surface or a light-to-dark gradient fade that looks gorgeous and sophisticated. Either way, it is a looker. Since it is part of the HTC One series, expect it to also boast of a superior camera within. The HTC One S is set to launch worldwide in April.
