HTC One S spotted at the FCC, might be headed T-Mobile’s way

HTC revealed their One series of Android handsets at MWC a couple of days ago. This included the top of the line HTC One X, followed by the One S and the entry-level One V. If your wallet tells you that the One X might be out of your budget, and you’d rather not settle for entry-level specs, then your best bet could be the One S, and thanks to an FCC filing, it looks like the HTC One S is headed T-Mobile’s way.

The device has won approval for GSM and WCDMA 850, 1900 and 1700 bands, along with Bluetooth and WiFi, with the support for the WCDMA 1700 band indicating that there is a pretty good chance of the One S landing on T-Mobile’s network. So what can T-Mobile subscribers look forward to?

If you’ve missed our coverage, the HTC One S will sport a 4.3” display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor under its hood, an 8MP rear-facing camera with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 4.0 on board. It will also be HTC’s slimmest smartphone to date measuring in at 7.8mm thin.

While there is no word from T-Mobile on when the device will be made available, it was revealed at MWC that the HTC One series of handsets will be released in April, so we expect more details to be revealed at the date approaches.
