Gmail has introduced a rather simple improvement that might prove to be essential to some of you out there, winning over those who avoid clicking on email links on the Internet simply because there is another application on the computer (Outlook, for example) that is never used would pop up in a window to unceremoniously interrupt your session. Google has made amendments in their Gmail code, and with the help of HTML5, whenever you enter Gmail in Chrome, you can always select the option of using Gmail to open up all email links. Once you agree to that, go ahead and click on all email links that you see online, where a spanking new Gmail compose window will pop up for you to fire away your enquiries. Alternatively, you can also choose to set Gmail as your default mail client in Firefox and Internet Explorer. This is one of the nice touches that Google has introduced which might seem like a no-brainer when you look at it right now.
