The Transformer Pad Infinity will see an upgrade in its specs, most notably its 10.1” Super IPS+ display which has seen an increase in resolution from 1280×800 to a whopping 1920×1200. The tablet will also come in two flavors – WiFi and a 4G LTE version, with the WiFi model sporting NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz (increase from 1.3GHz in the Transformer Prime), while the 4G LTE model will be using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.
The ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity will also see a 13.6% increase in battery, possibly to help with the powering of its new display. Apart from that, the rest of the specs remain almost similar, and while pricing has yet to be announced, it is expected to retail for $599 or more, depending on storage capacity.
