According to The Globe and Mail, a Canadian paper, at least two Canadian carriers – Rogers and BCE – are reported to be testing the “iTV” in their labs, along with the possibility of broadcast partnerships in Canada. The paper also reports that the upcoming iTV will feature voice commands in place of the traditional remote, which if we had to guess would most likely be Siri, or at the very least be a variant of Siri optimized for the iTV. These are rather bold claims, but once again with all Apple rumors, they are best taken with large quantities of salt. After all, with reports that Apple tends to set newly hired engineers to work on fake projects as part of a loyalty test of sorts, who knows where these rumors originally come from?
