Tekken X Street Fighter for PS Vita being considered by Katsuhiro Harada

Fans of arcade style fighting games are probably well aware that Capcom’s Street Fight X Tekken series will be arriving on Sony’s brand new handheld console, the PlayStation Vita. If it so happens that you are more of a Tekken fan rather than a Street Fighter fan, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada recently tweeted that he might be considering creating a PlayStation Vita version of the Tekken X Street Fighter game. This was in response to a fan asking the producer if Tekken X Street Fighter would be making its way onto the Vita handheld console.

Harada’s response was a mere “I’m considering now”, which doesn’t really tell us much nor does it indicate that the game will be arriving on the Vita, but for fans of the franchise or fighting games in general, and who are looking forward to seeing more games arrive on the Vita, this is probably pretty exciting and interesting news. Will it come to fruition? We guess only time will tell. In the mean time, Vita owners will have to contend with Street Fighter X Tekken.
