Sony Dot Switch teased

Sony released a video clip that previews how a future feature would function, calling it “Dot Switch”, and you can view said video after the jump. In just 30 seconds, Sony showed off how a pair of hands is able to take advantage of a free Xperia handset in order to trigger different devices, ranging from a gramophone to a large screen TV. The video remains rather cryptic, and no matter how much one peers into the crystal ball, nothing comes out of it other than a hazy disposition. This might just be a new kind of TV set that Sony CEO Howard Stringer suggested last year, and the Japanese text do point towards a form of “multi-screen entertainment”.
