Samsung W300 and W350 waterproof camcorders

[CES 2012] Rugged devices are starting to look better and better these days, thanks to the wonders of improved design, but they have yet to become mainstream. Waterproof devices are not exactly the norm just yet, but if you happen to find yourself in situations that might just see you get wet, then Samsung has the W300 and W350 waterproof camcorders that are capable of capturing any action with its 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, previewing them on a 2.3″ TFT display. The 29.6mm wide angle lens might make recording at narrow corridors easier, squeezing in a large party, and at least it does Full HD recording (1080p@30fps) without missing a beat

Another nice addition would be the inclusion of a built-in USB connector, so you need not tote around another USB cable on your travels. Available in yellow, red and black shades, the Samsung W300 and W350 will retail for $159 and $199, respectively, as it arrives at the market this April. What’s the difference between the two? The W350 will come with an accessory kit to make sure you are better prepared right out of the box.
