Most importantly, Barack Obama has shown a real motivation to connect with people in a two-way communication setting, where citizens can actually ask questions and get answers directly from the president.
According to the official Youtube blog, today at 2.30 pm PT (5.30 pm ET), President Obama will connect face-to-face with people across America over a live Google+ Hangout. Since January 22nd, over 225,000 people asked a question or cast a vote on the White House YouTube channel. Today, a selection of the top-voted YouTube questions will be asked and selected participants will actually join the President in the live Google+ Hangout to get their answers.
Watch it live there: https://www.youtube.com/whitehouse or from the embedded video above.
Please note that we do not share any political views here, we just think that it is important that the President of the USA takes the time to directly answer citizens’ questions via the internet.
