The NEC MEDIAS ES N-05D will feature a 4.3” 720×1280 display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8260 processor under the hood with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion, an 8.1MP CMOS camera with NEC’s Exmor R for mobile engine, a 1,400mAh battery, NFC, infrared, a digital TV tuner, Bluetooth, WiFi and will come loaded with Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. It will also feature support for Casio’s G-Shock GB-6900 watch and measures an incredible 6.7mm thin.
NEC has in the past revealed their interest in bringing their MEDIAS range of Android smartphones to the US, but so far we haven’t really seen anything yet. Could the NEC MEDIAS ES N-05D be one of the first of NEC’s smartphones to break into the US market? With specs and a thinness of 6.7mm, it could give the Motorola Droid RAZR a run for its money! Either way we’ll keep our eye out for this one.
