Motorola has announced that at CES 2012 next week it will be introducing the Connected Home Gateway: the next iteration of its 4Home technology that was applied by Verizon last fall. A CES 2012 Innovations Honoree, the Motorola Connected Home Gateway is designed to give consumers control of their home no matter where they are. Worried about the security of your home or electricity management when you’re thousands of miles away in a different country? The Motorola Connected Home Gateway should give you some peace of mind.
All you have to do is connect the gateway with all the home control, home security and energy management devices to the Gateway and you’re set. The Motorola Connected Home Gateway is said to make turning your home into a smart home a simple process that anybody can do, which should make it more appealing to both consumers and service providers.
