MicroVision PicoMagic applications on demo
[CES 2012] MicroVision will be demonstrating a couple of applications that might change the way pico projectors are used – and these apps will skirt the topics of touch interactivity and 3D displays. Either one are able to allow users to experience a whole new world beyond the basic projection. With the PicoMagic touch interactive display, one is able to interact with a projected image on any surface, creating an instant multi-user application like virtual whiteboards. No idea on whether portable gaming might see a use for such technology though – what do you think?
As for PicoMagic 3D capabilities , these enable users will be able to experience 3D content from a small display device regardless of where they are, although I am quite sure there will be brightness issues to contend with.
