iDesk concept looks awesome

Are you a fan of the Microsoft Surface but wished it wasn’t running Windows? Well, if iOS or Mac OS is more of your operating system of choice, this concept design from Adam Benton might be right up your alley. Posted on MacLife.com, the iDesk shows us what it would be like to have an Apple worktable. Use the desk like a giant touchscreen Mac, transfer files to and fro iOS devices by just laying them on the surface, and use Magic Trackpad style gestures without a Magic Trackpad.

Of course this is probably something that Apple will never release, but it would be awesome if somebody managed to build one for themselves, DIY-style – like the iTableous “giant iPhone table” we covered awhile ago.
